“Personal Care Services” means the provision of individual assistance with/or supervision of essential activities of daily living, such as eating, transfers (from bed to wheelchair, for example), bathing, grooming, dressing and ambulating, supervision of self-administered medication, helping with prescribed exercises, performing incidental household services, reporting changes in patient's condition, completing reports and similar services. Personal care services shall not be construed to mean the provision of medical, nursing, dental, or mental health services.

 

“Homemakers and Companions” provide assistance in household management including light cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and preparing and serving meals.

 

The following is a list of services that GHHC presently provides to our clients. We provide complete or partial assistance with these activities and the associated assistance needed when a client has impaired functioning in an area.
